I prefered Tim Burton; old school Batman due to Danny DeVito and Penguin. Looking forward to Batman Beyond

I like Burton's style of dark-and-depressing (at least at that point in his career) better than Nolan's.

Even if you like Batman '89 better than the Nolan trilogy, I don't see how you can argue Burton did a better job directing them.  Could you elaborate (genuinely curious to hear why you feel that way)?
