You don't think TNVol would have a disadvantage in becoming the Kasich/Huntsman type because he would have no shot in New Hampshire after calling the state's population sexist and angry??

As the only Trump supporter in the "conservative" primary, I tend to think I'd do a bit better, given how the GOP primaries have been playing out.

Anyways, I wouldn't handicap the conservative primary, but for moderates:
Goldwater - 60%
TN Volunteer - 20% (will get hurt by NH comments and stuff)
Smilo - 10% (not sure how seriously people will take him)
Wulfric - 10%

And libertarians:
Leinad - 90%
LibertarianRepublican - 10%
Religion would probably hurt LibertarianRepublican, unfortunately.

Isn't Goldwater pro-choice and very socially liberal in general? So I'd imagine that this would hurt him... But he should still eke it out because Wulfric and I split the conservatve vote. And yeah, I'd skip New Hampshire and ignore the state.

Yeah, would definitely be issue, although if I emphasise my opposition to late-term abortions it might soften the blow a bit. As for "very socially liberal in general", I suppose that would depend on what exactly you consider "social" issues. For example, I consider myself mostly supportive of gun rights, and my views on foreign policy and death penalty might help with the hawkish and "tough on crime" types. Or maybe I just end up failing spectacularly by alienating both moderates and social conservatives. Tongue

I like the term "socially libertarian." It emphasizes the lack of government regulation into people's private lives, while "socially liberal" is still enforcing a "values system" in the same way "social conservatism" does, only it's a secular values system (and thus much closer to the "socially libertarian" values, although still missing the mark).

My opinion of both neoconservatives and the "religious right" would hurt me a lot, considering that's probably about half the party.

I'd alienate most of the party fairly quickly, and unlike Trump I wouldn't have as much of a base to fall back on (I'm not the type to lead a populist revolution, more the type to sit back and analyze data for said revolution).

So your basically like Giuliani except maybe more libertarian on the drug war?

Yeah, that's pretty accurate, although IIRC Rudy is also more supportive of gun control than me. There are probably other differences that I'm forgetting about.

Goldwater would probably win in NH, or finish very well there.  I'm going to see if I can make up a map at some point.

I represent the Trump wing within the conservatives, I guess.

Though to be honest, I'm only a weak Trump supporter unless I get in a bad mood, in which case I become a very strong Trump supporter.

I probably should have made an Establishment wing:

-Kent (R-CT)
-Muon (R-IL)

I don't know Enduro enough to place him into a wing/

Considering the opposition and my Trump like tendencies IRL, I'd like to think I would be doing quite well. There are many I'd vote for over myself, but they aren't in these match ups.

I'm not really establishment. Out of the original 17 2016 candidates, I'd say I'm probably closest to Rubio and Walker, maybe Perry too.

... Ah, the pho-Tea Party. In all seriousness, your PM score implies you're closest to Rand Paul.

He's much more interventionist on foreign policy. Probably like Goldwater but more moderate instead of libertarian on social issues.

sMilo always gives off the vibe that he's just a liberal troll to me at least, even though he actually does support Trump.  I'm not sure how it'd play off in real life.
