What a great racket this guy has. Being paid 1 million every month for nuggets of wisdom like these.

@aseitzwald

Tad Devine says Clinton's lead is almost entirely from states in which Sanders did not compete:  "She has emerged as a weak front runner."

@jbouie

On press call, Sanders advisor Tad Devine is arguing Clinton only has a delegate lead because Sanders didn’t compete in 8 states.

@Karoli

Tad Devine: “Sec. Clinton has ‘slight edge’ in pledged delegates.” Ummm.

@ThePlumLineGS

Top Sanders adviser Tad Devine: We'll try to flip super-dels even if we trail in pop vote and pledged dels.

It's not a good argument, but it's technically pretty accurate.

Iowa? Massachusetts? Nevada? South Carolina? Texas? March 15 states?

^ All places where Sanders lost despite spending money there.

Technically he is right. When you look at the Southern states on Super Tuesday where Sanders spent nothing they are a majority of her pledged delegate lead. But isn't he admitting that they made a mistake in not trying to at least narrow the gap in those states?

Lolwut. Okay, so if Sanders HAD contested all states, he probably wouldn't have been able to pump the amount of money he did into states like Michigan and Oklahoma. One could similarly make the case that Sanders has yet to win in a state where Clinton went "all-in," as she's really been saving much of her fundraising for her general election fight.

Good. The white supremacist is lying more. Hopefully, he'll leave our great party and join the American Freedom Party where he belongs.

I think that a lot of people are voting for Mrs. Clinton simply because she is a woman.
She has made that a campaign issue.

We're starting to see the reasons for Tad's wonderful successes in the Carter, Mondale, Dukakis, Gore, and Kerry campaigns.

I beg to differ. Gore, Kerry, and Carter were moderates. A communist like Mr. Devine would never work for great men like Al Gore.

Thank you for making my point for me. She has made this an issue and women are a group that she is appealing to. Nobody can deny this. She is playing the gender card. People do vote on personality rather than on policy. Of course, I don't think this is the way to vote, but some people do. Fioriana and Palin are examples of this. There are limits. People don't tend  to have this as the only criterion. They don't usually switch parties because of gender or race. However, many are under the illusion that there isn't much of a difference between candidates of the same party; I am sure that some people don't realize how stark the contrast is between Clinton and Sanders, so they let themselves be swayed by the "vote for her, it's time for a woman" argument. Not that there's anything wrong with wanting to have a woman POTUS, since we have never had one, but really, do you want to vote based soley on that? That is the only reason I can think why people would chose someone whose policies are so inferior to Sanders'. $12 minimum wage? Really?

Sorry, Clintonistas, but Primary challengers typically don't care about their opponents GE Welfare. And Sanders doesn't even consider himself a Democrat. He may endorse you, he may endorse Stein (not likely but possible), but don't expect him to actually campaign for anyone. And negative campaigning is part of life. Also, why are you afraid to be challenged properly? Is there something you're trying to hide? Maybe the fact that hardly any of the bills you sponsored while in the Senate were signed into law?

As I recall, Sanders in late Fall, to his detriment,  refused to go after Clinton on emails. That was a strategic mistake, as now, as Clinton supporters are deeming her inevitable and Sanders is racking up victories.

Silly. Just admit you didn't win as many states.

Don't be silly. Clinton is inevitable.

Yeah, he shouldn't have said what he said in the 1st debate about that. He probably didn't think he could actually win the primary at the time, but still. Obviously a direct attack on her was the wrong course of action at that time (Chafee tried and failed), but just staying quiet (and giving a generic "I'm not talking about that in this campaign." response if directly asked to respond) would have been far better than his actual action - coming right out, unrequested, and essentially acquitting her of any wrongdoing.

Clinton supporters like to pretend that she would do better than Sanders in the general election. This opinion is just that, an opinion. They have literally nothing upon which to base this belief.

LOL. He and Stein have literally nothing in common policy-wise.

Au contraire. They are both communists. The only difference is that Sanders is racist and sexist as well.

Dang, you guys must have some good stuff in Minnesota. I'm jealous.

Ron Paul ran insurgent republican campaigns in 2008 and 2012 (admittedly much weaker ones) and endorsed select third-partiers in the general both times. Just because it's considered the "right thing to do" to endorse the nominee doesn't mean it's impossible for notable candidates to "stay neutral" or even make a cross party endorsement.
