Sigh.  As introduced by Sen. MAS117:

The Repeal of the ANWR Drilling Authorization Bill

Primary Sponsor: Senator MAS117

1.) The entirety of the ANWR Drilling Authorization Bill is hereby repealed.

I hereby open debate on this bill.

Didn't we just pass the ANWR Drilling Authorization Bill a few weeks ago in this same session?  Anyway, I plan to vote against the repeal of this bill as it gives no explanation why it must be repealed.

I believe it was the last session in which it happened, but the senators present are almost exactly the same, and are exactly the same, ideologically speaking.

I want to filibuster it:

Section 1 shall be amended t to read:

1.) The entirety of the ANWR Drilling Authorization Bill is hereby not repealed.

I support the following amendment:

2. Senator MAS117 obviously has too much time on his hands. Therefore for each joke bill he presents from this point forward, he has to award one other Senator a pocket-watch.

This bill was just to state my strong objection to the ANWR bill, and seeing is I only have a few more days in this distinguished body I want to move things along so I can get some more votes in. Mr. President,  I hereby withdraw this bill.

I hereby present the following amendment: (This is for real)

Section III

He withdrew the bill, we don't discuss it anymore and move on so he's no longer wasting our time!

The first time the comment was like three pages ahead of the actual bill and this is the first time I've been online today.

Now I see where the 2% disapproval of my job as PPT came from, you slave-driving ingrates. Tongue
