If Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker endorses Ted Cruz for president tomorrow in Wisconsin, and Cruz wins Wisconsin, changes the dynamic of the unpredictable presidential race, and could make a contested convention in Cleveland a clear possibility. Ted Cruz needs an executive as his running mate. Someone who has governed and actually had a responsibility. Cruz has not had that opportunity. John Kasich, does not want to be anyone's vice president. Kasich is the boss. However, I think in July, Cruz could team up with Scott Walker and announce Walker as his vice presidential running mate. Any thoughts on this?

Walker is a dud.   He's probably the least inspirational candidate the Republicans had.

Plus it's not like his home state is a model economy for the country or anything at the moment....

Right. One was a flop on an epic scale and the other is a smarmy empty suit whose best shot is to come in second and steal it at a contested convention.

I would like this ticket a lot, but I think someone who fails to get a delegate majority's best bet for VP is to pick one of his rivals or a strong supporter of one of his rivals. Cruz/Kasich would probably be the ideal ticket coming out of the convention.

I would love to see this ticket. Two extreme conservatives getting trounced sounds like a good time to me.

And how would this address the giant orange elephant-in-name-only in the room? Just because Walker never graduated from college doesn't make him the Trumpist Whisperer.

STAHP trying to win Wisconsin, GOP!  It's not going to happen.  The Democrats in this state are entrenched and loyal, and represent 45% of the electorate.  The only way the state goes Republican is to get a whole bunch of very fickle swing voters who see which way the wind is blowing.  In other words, a GOP landslide.

Kasich has nothing in common with Cruz and has already said he won't take VP.

Cruz/Walker would be just about the least enticing ticket possible from my perspective.

I cannot possibly fathom a ticket I would want to see get elected less than this one. My two least favorite politicians in the nation.

I like this ticket, but it's not exactly the perfect ticket. Cruz alienates a lot of people with his face, the way he talks, and the fact that he shut down the govt. Rubio/Walker is a better conservative, united ticket.

In what world does Cruz unite the GOP? It's amazing that he's become the sane alternative this cycle. And Walker brings nothing to the ticket

It's like how Rubio was the True Conservative star of the future when he ran for the Senate; when he eventually ran for president he was in fact a 'reasonable' establishment type.

Walker brings Wisconsin, executive experience, and potentially, some establishment support to the ticket.

He most certainly does not bring Wisconsin, trust me on that, and he's been a horrible governor. The flip flops were not only a national candidate thing for him.
