I'm coming to the realization that the best ticket for the Democrats in 2020 is Hassan/Booker, not Booker/Hassan like I previously thought. Newsom, Inslee and Bullock would make decent running mates, too. If the Democrats are going to run a woman, it can't be someone who is perceived to be a legislator. Only a chief executive can break the glass ceiling as a Democrat.

Willie Geist‏ @WillieGeist
NEW: Sources close to @JohnKasich tell me, after Charlottesville, there is growing sense of "moral imperative" to primary Trump in 2020.

oh god please

I mean, let's not talk about him as some white knight. He was obviously waiting for such an opportunity to present itself.

Ha that'll be the day. A centrist unity ticket is a pipe dream.
Center-left + center-right = schizophrenic, not centrist.

It is a gross misunderstanding of Trump to believe that his win means anyone run for President and win now.
