Good for the DC Democrats! Why should they be forced to cater to a campaign that wouldn't be out of place in 1930s Germany?

DC? No way! Those types of shenanigans would NEVER happen. I am not quite sure how much BERN! would be felt in an establishment town that is almost half African-American anyway. I wonder what solution they could have with this.

"Forgets" is your word. The article says there's a challenge to Sanders's registration that will likely be cleared up sometime next month. But say to try to make this a conspiracy, just like everything else.

Funny how they didn't forget Hillary.

If they had forgotten Hillary, would you have given a f-ck? No. You wouldn't. Stop acting like a left-wing Alex Jones and accept that it was a mistake.

Why bother? Bernie wasn't gonna get even close here - maybe 0 delegates even!

He'll probably get at least 7 out of 20.

Does it matter? Why even have the DC caucuses a whole week after June 7 anyway? Clinton will have the nomination by then anyway. She should just give all of DC's delegates to Sanders out of pity, even though she'll win it with 60% easily.

Hillary's campaign isn't utterly incompetent.

Why would anyone bother to pull a stunt in a primary that has only 20 pledged delegates and is not great territory for Sanders? Seems like an odd place for a "conspiracy".

Then why did this happen? Also yes every person that is in an election should be on the ballot and if this happened to Clinton i would want her on as well.

Clearly this was done to solidify DC's delegates for Hillary, since she would've been in deep trouble there otherwise. lol

Perhaps because it was an error and nothing nefarious? A stunt over a very limited amount of pledged delegates makes no sense. If this was New York or California then maybe it would be suspect, but not District of Columbia.

Jesus, my facebook feed is packed with people's heads exploding over this story.  Anyone who thinks the media isn't on Bernie's side needs to get their brain checked.

What actually happened:
  • Bernie was a dumbass and waited until literally the last minute to submit his registration
  • Registration didn't get e-mailed out until the next morning
  • The DC DNC put Bernie's name on the list anyway
  • Some random asshole activist noticed the discrepancy and put out a challenge
  • DC DNC is going to change the rules to allow Bernie to be on anyway

What people think happened:
  • Hillary called DWS and said "I don't want Bernie on the ballot on DC, because it's the very last primary, has almost no delegates, and Bernie probably won't even be viable, but why take a chance?"
  • DWS told some minimum-wage schmucks at the DC county office to wait a few hours to forward Bernie's e-mail after he submits his registration at the last minute
  • They got caught with their hands in the cookie jar

As for why they didn't "forget" Hillary, she probably sent her registration in months in advance of the deadline like the responsible leader crooked corrupt bitch she is.

Meanwhile Tony V gives the thumbs up to Ted Cruz delegate shennanigans because he's pretending that Cruz's campaign is funny to spite people on the forum who had the Trump gag for a while. Wowie wowie.

There's no reason to try to use logic. These insane people also blame Hillary and the DNC for the Republican-controlled Arizona election system. They're beyond help.

This is grossly incompetent. I'm for Hillary, but this is just bad. They need to get their act together. Stories like these just give more fire to Bernie supporters feeling mistreated, even though this 100% is not what the Hillary campaign wanted.

It's truly a shame they didn't kick him off. That would've been a joy to watch.
