Spanish is one of the Pacific's official languages, and it was very late at night, and I was very bored. I realized that giving a speech in Spanish would be both show-offy and politically bad if I made mistakes, but (respectively) I put way too much effort in to scrap it, and come on! I've only been learning Spanish for about six months!

     ¡Hola, mis amigos! La temporada de los elecciones esta sobre nosotros, y yo estoy anunciando mi campaña por reelección. ¡Espero por tus votos! Si estoy elegido, prometo a trabajar duro a resolver la crisis del presupuesto, reformer la sistema tributario y aumentar el nivel de actividad. Durante mi mandato, llené todas las posiciones eligidas (toda una hazaña, en el región Pacífico) y resolví la problema de Daesh. Puedes estar seguro que mis logros continuarán en el plazo proxima.
