Tax day is the 18th this year, and Sanders has specifically agreed to a debate on Good Morning America in the past. Stop making excuses for him.

Many people probably don't know it's the 18th this year. Regardless, we still don't know the exact timing of these dates so we can't really rush to judgement just yet. Let's wait until we get all the details.

I'm not sure why I feel compelled to point this out, but as both of them are chronic conditions associated with increased mortality, yes, they are "deadly disease."

Sorry to say that but you don't know what you're talking about. My mother suffers from both for years and she is as strong as any woman in her 70's can be. And she is far from the only person I know with these conditions that lives a normal and fruitful life.

lmfao, while I am (seriously) glad that your mother is doing well, I can't help laughing at the idea that you'd mention that rather than referring to mortality data or medical literature. Are you that statistically illiterate? Do you not understand how rates and averages work? And why on earth have you gone from trolling about Sanders personal health to arguing about mortality rates for people with bone disease, anyway? What a world we live in.

I happen to work on the health sector and I know pretty well the statistics of both diseases.
So stop that BS and admit that you're a Sanders supporter with poor sense of humor rather than lecture me about stuff that I know for 20 years.

OK, then. What's the six-month mortality rate following a hip fracture for people living in Greece?

A debate when the other person is already scheduled to make an appearance at a public event, television, etc is a bit silly.  If Clinton was holding some event, would be on a television show on a certain date and Sanders offered a debate then instead it would be just as silly.

The only one that seems remotely like a good faith effort is the one on the 14th, but of course without knowing details it is hard to say.  With that being said I would like to know the reasons behind Sanders campaign denying the 14th (if that is indeed true), as well as their proposed times that they have indicated Clinton has said no to.  And of course the original date mentioned by Clinton, if anything shows it wasn't a realistic proposal.

You're unhinged man. It's sad that underneath all your wonky exterior lies a little dictator who wants to censor jokes that aren't to his liking.

Far from it; I'm not sure why you're insulting my size, but any right-thinking person should be happy to leave folks like you uncensored. Bad-taste jokes can be a reliable sign of either good character or bad character, depending on their context and tone. If you're not interested this (admittedly pretty silly) meditation on whether your joke was in bad taste, maybe you should not have initiated this equally amusing argument about whether osteoporosis and arthritis are truly "deadly."

By the way, I take it that you're not interested in admitting that you were wrong about bone disease mortality? I'm sure that it's no reflection on your character, even experts make mistakes sometimes.

More proof that you're unhinged if you really thought that by little I meant your size.

Since a member can only delete threads which he himself started your point is somewhat flawed.

One was on Monday, too long before NY and the April 26th states. One was in the morning! I assume something else was completely wrong with the 3rd time slot. I believe Bernie had offered some reasonable times that Hillary rejected.

So, you are assuming? Should we assume that your support of Sanders is based on similarly shaky reasoning?

Hillary and the dnc establishment are doing the debates at times where Hillary can be covered easily (mornings, weekends, around sports) to deny fair play for Bernie to have his points heard (notice how few prime time Monday-Thursday debates the Dems have had this cycle) the GOP have had most of their debates in prime time.

Two of the proposed debates were primetime, Monday or Thursday. Then people complained that there was going to be a football game like an hour after the debate.

Well, since the primary evidence you used to support your claim is false, I don't see how your point stands.

Look at the number of debates the Dems have actually had in this cycle, you'll notice they are in non-prime times. Who schedules a debate too close to Sunday night football or college football on Saturdays. Oh that's right. The Dems. If the Dems can't do their debates prime time (to cover Hillary) then who are the real cowards.

The networks scheduled the debates, and they are loathe to give up spots in prime time. If you'll note, the two Republican debates on network television have been on Saturdays as well.

We don't even know the time of the Thursday proposed debate..  The Monday debate was slightly before primetime, and is the same night of the NCAA College basketball Championship, one of which that at the time of the proposal might have included Syracuse university (looking less likely now)

Rumor mill says that the Thursday (4/14) debate was to be aired at 2 am on NYC public access and filmed on an iPhone in the basement of deli somewhere in Flatbush.

Ignoring this stupid title -

WI votes on Tuesday right? So it makes no sense for Bernie to go there n debate now when he has got huge rallies planned all over WI.

April 14th he will be having a huge rally in Manhattan & because of the difficult to obtain permit, it will be foolish for him to go.

Now I am sure that from 9-17/18th they can find 1 decent slot not the Friday morning dumb idea.

This is why Sanders campaign was pushing for a resolution as people need to plan their agenda accordingly. If you schedule in the last moment, these issues crop up - Hillary there is time for debate Clinton

The "but it's tax day" retort is ludicrous. If Bernie believes that most Americans wait to the last minute to file and that doing so is hard, maybe he shouldn't be considering tax hikes across the board.
A socialist telling people they have to pay more in taxes on what most consider to be tax day (even if it isn't this year). Makes for great optics.

I kind of like the morning debate between these two old fogies. Fits well for Hillary's core constituency or old people. Bernie's millennials the other hand, likely still stoned.
