Aren't they kind of a vague, disorganized group that anyone can claim to be a part of? I can't really say I have a solid opinion of them one way or another.

A bit of both. If they somehow were able to completely corrupt and destroy the CIA's operations and maintain its defunct status indefinitely, I would publicly voice my approval thereof.

Most of the big, consequential disruptions that people associate with Anonymous happened years ago and were committed by a splinter group within Anonymous called "LulzSec". They were the true talent of that coalition and they were also arrested year(s) ago.

Now it is mostly kids and random foreigners that say they are going to "hack" something then just end up DDoSing it (Distributed Denial of Service - flooding with data until server goes offline). Quite frankly it has become pathetic and they are now more of a nuisance, but I think the world also needs people willing to fight back against injustices, so I'm undecided on this. My belief is that they will probably continue to fade into obscurity as they are largely unable to do anything noteworthy at this point.
