Hello everybody.  I'm here to speak about an important aspect of everyone's life: sex and responsibility.  No, I'm not your mother lecturing you on what's going to happen.  On the contrary, I'm here to say that this is a responsibilty of which you should take care of by yourself.  There should be no laws forbidding the act of sexual intercourse as it is a personal choice.

When the term "personal choice" at least three things come to mind.
I am for the legalization of prostitution.  There is very risky behavior involved in sex with a prostitute, but if you're a consenting adult, there should be no reason why the government fobids it.  This also goes to say that if you get a sexually transmitted disease, you should not need to rely on government assistence to get it treated.

I am alright with the current laws allowing for gay marraige.  Some may argue marraige is between a man and a woman, but I don't think you should be forbidden from marrying someone who truly makes you happy.  This is a religious matter, not a state matter.  If elected, I will fight any attempt to change it.

Finally, although I hate to bring up the abortion issue, it must be dealt with.  I don't like abortions, I feel it's unneccessary to abort a developing fetus in the middle of a pregnancy.  However, the Atlasian national government should have no say in the matter.  The intrusiveness of the government would violate such a private matter, and nothing would be solved.  If the government completely outlawed abortions, many would still try to abort by unsafe means and others would give birth to babies who have unspeakable living conditions.

I hope everyone makes safe and healthy conditions when it comes to sex.  I believe that we the people have the right to make responsible decisions based on what's right for us.
Thanks everyone for attending and God Bless the Mideast!

Would you oppose or support a regional effort to limit abortions?  And as a Senator would you allow the abortion debate to be settled by the regions?

I think the regions already control all issues (or at least most) with regards to abortion, though I would like confirmation on that.

I support the regions to promote abortion alternatives, but the regions I don't think should have the ultimate deciding power in the abortion.  At that point, regional or federal control would still be control.

The current Mideast laws are fine.  I wouldn't change them.
