Good day, Senators. I am honored to have been nominated by President Griffin, and I look forward to serving this great nation. I have served as an election administrator as Northeast CJO, and I have served in the Assembly there, as well as this great body, the Pacific Council, and as Game Moderator. I will be open, honest, and transparent, and I look forward to your questions.

Mr. Councilor, two questions:

1. In the past, you have struggled to maintain a consistent level of activity (as I recall, this was the reason you stepped down as GM). What makes you confident that this will not be the case going forward?
2. On a related note, can you give us a rough idea of when you would release the certified results following an election (the day after? three days? a week?)?

Senator, two answers:

1. I am confident that due to a lesser amount of time and activity needed, this should be a good fit as I transition to college.
2. A day at the latest, most certainly.

Are you familiar with the recent changes made to the election laws concerning the certification of votes, rules regulating the voting booth etc etc? IF so, are there any changes you would recommend either to these or other elected related statutes?

Do you intend to stay on following the ratification of the new Constitution?

Senator Yankee, I am familiar with recent statute changes, and I don't feel that I should be advising the Senate on this before I run my first federal election.

Senator Truman, should this position stay on, then yes, yes I would.

During my time in the Northeast, rpryor did serve as CJO, and he generally ran our elections well, so I feel confident that he'd succeed as SoFE. I am curious to know how long he think he'll be able to stay on, considering that he's shown himself to be fairly ambitious when it comes to running for office.

This reminds me a lot of a response that Ebowed gave me back in 2010 when he was being confirmed as Associate Justice.

Good times! Wink

I have asked that question of nearly every nominee for this office going back years. My purpose is to get the nominee to analyze the rules for potential gaps or issues in general that the Senate can address. This ties into an off and on complaint that homelycooking had both as SoFE and RG, that his advise was sometimes ignored.

Ok I think we've questioned him enough. Is everyone ready to vote?

I'm satisfied with the nominee's answers and second the call for a final vote.
