That's a pickle, isn't it?

Nothing against Italy, I just couldn't bear the climate.

You people do know about places like South Tyrol or the Valle d'Aosta, do you? Sure, it's warmer there than in Finland (which place isn't?) but not all of Italy is Sicily with nonstop 30 Celsius.

Per me, la risposta a questa domanda è assolutamente chiara. Quale persona sana non sceglierebbe l'Italia?

South Tyrol should be Austria. And for me 20 is too much, I don't even think about 30.

A Finnish government in Italy with Italian culture would be obscenely perfect. I will vote Italy because I am marrying an Italian citizen.

One thing we agree on! Cheesy (well not totally, South Tyrol should just be reunited with North Tyrol in whatever political constellation, imo)

Don't tell that Tony ... Tongue

Anyway, South Tyrol should become a fully independent nation rather than sticking with Italy or re-join Austria.

All this wealthy region is doing now is to shove their hardly-earned money down to Rome so they can prop up impoverished regions of Italy in the South.

And if they join Austria, their money would just go to Vienna so it can be used to bail out our failed banks with another 20 Bio. € or to Brussels so that the incompetent, out-of-touch politicians there can spend it on some black-hole project ...

Now, why would South Tyrol join a country that exists only in Tender's sick and twisted mind?

Of course, Italy would have better food, but a decent climate is more important.  All 5 of the Nordic countries are among the 10 best countries in the world.

Food, climate, history, wine (Sangiovese!), culture (movies, art, etc.) - Italy. Italy on all counts. 100-0 Italy. Except religion, but they haven't crusaded in centuries, so I'll look past that one. Wink

Interestingly, Finland ranks first in the world in per capita consumption of both coffee and milk.

That's becasue you need a frickin ton of caffeine just to stay awake in a scandinavian climate. Wink
