The Paflagonian Unincest Law, passed in 1834 when the country was still a part of the mighty Paflagonian-Montenegrin Empire, states that having an intimate relation with a person that is not biologically related to one is a grave offense. Until 1923, it was punishable by death if said unrealted person was above the age 18. Now a person convicted of unincest can face up to 25 years.

On the other hand, being intimate with a person older than 18 is technically legal, but is widely unacceptable. It was such scandal that forced former Chancellor Bender Branson to resign in infamy in 1968.
