Wow, looks like Buffalo and Polk were AP errors. What a sweep of the state by Senator Sanders!

Turnout:

R's: 1,101,046 (52.3%)
D's: 1,003,904 (47.7%)

Dems in deep trouble this fall.

Just stop idiot.  Get over yourself.

I don't take orders from you. You saying this won't change a thing about me. I know you guys like to fantasize with your hillary landslide maps, but they don't reflect reality. Dems must realize that 2016 will be a competitive election that they will lose if they get complacent.

The republican party is going to nominate Ted Cruz or Donald Trump.  Either a man who makes Barry Goldwarter look like a hippy, or the man who makes George Wallace look tame.  Dems are not going to lose.

So, Bernie won every county in WI except Milwaukee ?

Nice.

Anyway, turnout even increased further to 2.105 million - which is 46.9% of the VAP and 48.5% of the VEP.

That's the 2nd highest turnout so far, after NH.

There is absolutely no relationship whatsoever between primary turnout and general election performance.

If Donald Trump is defeated in the Republican Primary, the Republican Party does have a chance in the General Election. The political left has completely lost its mind and gone utterly insane in my opinion.

We don't know that yet. Many populations that tend to not vote in heavy numbers in the primaries and will turn out in higher numbers for the General Election are also demographic groups that lean heavily to the political left. Just based on averages, Wisconsin is still going to be a very, very difficult state for, say the Cruz campaign, to take.

Sanders' win was actually slightly larger than Cruz's, in the end. It seems Atlas posters beat the polls in this race. I'm pretty proud of my prediction of a 12-point Sanders win and a 9-point Cruz win.

Eh, this has to be depressing for Dems.

I think this is an issue much more with the candidates then the voters. Hopefully on the off chance Sanders wins the election he can work better to inform his voters about down ballot races.

Also, do you have the data for the Republican side as well?

No, unfortunately, Benchmark Politics just released this Dem exit poll data.

According to a guy on twitter, Kloppenburg underperformed in Clinton strongholds, particularly, in majority black precincts.

That seemed to happen a lot with many counties throughout that night. Weird.
