A Secret Service agent,by the name of Paul Landis, very quickly, jumped out of the car that followed the President's car and grabbed a hold of the President. After the President is shot in the shoulder, the next shot hit the

Secret Service agent that would have fatally struck and killed the President, had he not been present.Sadly The brave secret service agent died for the president

his high-profile divorce from Mary Clark, his wife of 22 years, and remariage to happpy, cost Rockefelelr the nomination in 1964.

Goldwalter asked John J.Williams to be his running mate and when he turned him down. he asked alan dean davis to be his running mate
12th district congressman from new york Francis EDorn steped in to be Goldwalters running mate.

Senator Gore was a good but awkward running mate for Kennedy lacking LBJ"S connections and Kennedys raw charisma toured the country. his son Al Gore would one day become a pulitzer prize winning journalist and would beg and plead for his farther to run for president one day in the future.
