Arguments

Russia: culturally Asian, or culturally neither European nor Asian, but Russian. Russia might be a continent.

British Isles: belong to the English-speaking world, together with the USA, Canada, Australia and New Zealand. The English-speaking world is different to Europe.

Iberian Peninsula: Portugal and Spain have close ties to the Latin America

Russia isn't any less European than Belarus or Ukraine.

So I vote Britain.

I say Britain.  The English-speaking world is almost its own place.

It really isn't.

Is too!

(Sorry, the debating skills displayed by this year's Republican presidential candidates have rubbed off on me.)

It kinds of is, though.  There are distinct differences between us and the Continental European world.  Of course, these differences are small in comparison to the Arab World-Western World, but there are differences.

Sort of thing you can only say without irony if your knowledge of Britain is (more or less) restricted to the West End of London and/or your knowledge of the USA is limited to the UES. Equally absurd -and in a bizarre 1910s kind of way - is insisting that 'The Continent' forms a homogeneous entity...

Kalmykia, but if I'm not allowed to choose it, I would say Georgia or Kazakhstan.

The extent of my first hand knowledge of the United Kingdom comprises of very little, so my hypothesis could be wrong.

Probably the part of Azerbaijan that's in Europe. But of these options, Russia.

It would first take to know what is 'European'.

Probably Eastern Thrace, if anything
This is the correct answer. Eastern Thrace is basically an extension of a Middle Eastern Country in Europe.
