Hey, at least Sanders still has....um....Oregon? Montana? Yeah, congrats nominee Clinton.

To be fair, the most we were looking at here in terms of net delegate difference was 6 (with Sanders getting 70% of the vote in neutral conditions) and considering how it broke down anyway (a 55% win in neutral conditions should have yielded him 1 or 2 net delegates), it's not a huge deal to fall 4 or 5 delegates behind the best case scenario. Of course, he's really got his back up against the wall and even being shut out of a couple of delegates at this point matters more than it would in any other circumstance.

Meanwhile Sanders saying that his Wyoming win proves that he has the momentum.
I guess he has to con some more students in order to pay Devine and Weaver's obscene salaries.

just keeping this in case Sanders wins NY 52-48 or wider

There's literally no reality where Sanders wins New York, especially not by 4%.

Yeah, just look what happened to him today in a closed caucus without same day registration.
And seeing the exit polls from 2008 New York is actually the most closed of all Democratic primaries, i.e. it has the lowest number of self-described independents.

And the Democratic primary electorate in New York is whiter than Florida but about just as old. Literally a good 70-75% of Democratic primary voters on the 19th will have voted for Clinton in the past in some capacity.

Well, I haven't checked the results yet, but based on the comments from various Clinton supporters, it looks like Clinton won WY decisively, so congrats to Hillary for her massive win.

Is anyone shocked how close it was? Like I expected Bernie to win by a huge 40 point win but he only won it by 11 points and the delegate spread is split.

Who cares, a win's a win. It's not like winning by 70% would suddenly have made Bernie the favorite. Tongue

There will be another green State on Dave's map. That's enough for me.

70-30 and 56-44 is the difference between a 10-4 delegate split and the 7-7 delegate split we have to live with. That may not seem like much, but it matters when you're 220ish delegates behind and relying on large enough margins in NY/PA/CA.

It's pretty amazing how the Wyoming caucus ends up being closer than the Wisconsin primary.

Geez, wasn't it nice for the last hours when we were spared of jfern's inane hack posts?
But I guess all good things come to an end.

The absentees in Laramie went something like 625-0 for Hillary. They are only supposed to be for certain reasons, not for I don't feel like showing up.

I guess in your own little world being old and frail is not good enough reason.
God forbid if you admit for once that Sanders screwed up, it may signal the End Days.

Disabled or illness were allowed absentee. But these weren't supposed to be used to get votes from people who didn't show up because they didn't really care.

And how exactly do you know that they were used by people who didn't care?
Did you do your own investigation?

Hillary loses her 16th State. She's up 18-16 so far in states.

Hart's delegate count was 1,164.

Sanders has passed Jesse Jackson in delegates and total votes, crossing over 7 million, but still has a ways to go to pass Hart's delegate count.

Sanders/Clinton is the third most contested behind Mondale/Hart and Clinton/Obama.

He is also still behind Teddy Kennedy in 1980 in the popular vote.
