I just randomly thought of this yesterday. Maybe not the best choice, but maybe a possibility?

He should be President.

Xzibit: Yo dawg, I heard you like White Houses, so I put a Whitehouse in your White House.

Random uninteresting thoughts like this don't warrant a thread.

I don't think he has much to offer Sanders or Clinton as a running mate. And of the Northeastern Democratic Senators (none of whom will be chosen due to regional balance issues), I think Reed, Shaheen, Murphy, Gillibrand, and Casey have more to offer.

(I'm assuming Clinton is the nominee here, which I'm convinced she will be.)

Casey is anti-abortion, and Gillibrand is from the same state as Clinton (kind of a legal gray area that wouldn't look good at best). Shaheen might be a decent choice but she's a bit old. Murphy would be a great choice and I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up being the VP.

Why is Reed better than Whitehouse, though?

I would take Reed for his military experience and time as Ranking Member of the Armed Services Committee. What would you prefer about Whitehouse?

That was an honest question; I didn't know the answer. I guess the advantage of Whitehouse over Reed is he's a few years younger.

Eh, he wouldn't be bad, but she could probably find a better fit.
