Ukraine's embattled Prime Minister Arsniey Yatsenyuk, resigned today calling for the formation of a new government.

A new government is to be selected by Tuesday.

His position was increasingly untenable. It would have made sense for him to resign a month or two ago. Few politicians can survive for long when their countries go through what Ukraine is going, and Yatsenyuk is not one of them.
