I've combined the results that I've found for the 2016 Democratic and Republican primaries by congressional districts. Some of the states are accurate, some are guesses (like Democratic Texas for example). Take them with a grain of salt; there was a very helpful thread where people were posting results of the primaries by CD in Atlas Forum, but I can't find it anymore. If any of you find it I would much appreciate it, and if you'd like to contribute results then go ahead and reply with them so I can add them into the map.

On Texas, they don't break down the results by congressional district, but by Senate District.

Here's the maps I've been making.

On Ky, IL, ID, and Utah, I don't have the breakdowns, so I just coloured all of the district the statewide totals.

If you did this from my suggestion, thanks.

Either way this is super cool. Only thing is I can't tell the difference between lighter shades of Ted and Marco (that's to Mega, Jerry's look fine)

Looking at this makes it all more amazing how Hillary won Illinois.

Excellent map Jerry! We'll keep both in the thread I suppose, but personally I like yours better. Wink

Edit: Actually I noticed some of your results don't match with Atlas's 'official' ones on the front page. Can't tell which are correct.

I believe I did see your suggestion; I agreed, CD maps are very helpful.

The site I was using was not the best, so some could be wrong.

Here's the maps I've been making.

How did that district that borders Oklahoma in Texas go to Sanders? There were no counties in the area to go to Sanders, though Denton was close. Did it pickup the most pro-Sanders areas of Denton County and that was enough to outvote the rural counties?

Interesting how Sanders outperformed in North Florida compared to AL/GA.

Interesting how Sanders outperformed in North Florida compared to AL/GA.

It's just because FL occurred two weeks later than AL and GA; same reason NC is the only Clinton >50% state.

No, it's because Alabama and Ga are both open primary's, while North Carolina and Florida are closed.    So the Dixiecrats who wanted to vote for Trump could only vote in the Dem primary, ie protest votes.

And i would add that it's exactly in those "Dixiecratic" counties 10-20% of vote in Democratic primary went to 3rd candidates, who even for me (strong political junkie with rather good knowledge of past political history) were absolutely unknown

For what's it  Worth NC isn't closed, democrats and independents could vote in the primary.

It's when the GOP primary is closed and the Dem primary is open that's perfect for Sanders since all the independents and DINOs have to vote in the Dem primary (see Oklahoma).

You should probably have an inset for NYC/Long Island given how many CDs we have (and that's the one place Trump actually lost)

For Illinois, are the Kasich winning CD's 7, 9, and 10? That's what it looks like. Also, how did Cruz not win 18?

AP has now put up the CD-7 results, and it easily voted for TRUMP. Also we now have sufficient information from CD-3 to call it for TRUMP.

IT'S A TRUMP SWEEP OF THE INDIANA DELEGATES

Deleted my old post and putting this up in its place. The question about where the numbers for the first pictures come from still stands.

Well I include a disclaimer showing that these aren't perfect; some are estimates, however most are based on actual results. Some can be found on Atlas's official maps, while others I find elsewhere. I can create a spreadsheet with the results gathered so far if you'd like.
