  My fantasy is that he stays on as Secretary of State for Wilson and he, combined with Wilsons second wife Edith Galt, keeps Wilson on the neutral side in WW1, and with no US involvement a compromise peace out of WW1 emerges, with a boat load of intriguing butterflies coming from this.
