Lets say there is a brokered convention and Trump loses the nomination to Ryan.  Clinton narrowly beats Sanders and there are accusations of conspiracy.  Could a Trump/Sanders unity ticket be even viable?  What would be its election prospects and how would the Democrats and Republicans respond?

To be clear, I don't think this is likely, just an interesting hypothetical.

Why on Earth would Sanders align himself with Trump? Trump pretty much stands for all the things Bernie is against.

No. (sane)

Why not predict that Jindal gets the Republican nomination and picks Hillary Clinton as his running mate?

I would, however, be interesting if Bernie were to endorse TRUMP after his loss to Hillary.

It would be interesting if Santorum, Christie, Carson and Fiorina all endorse Clinton. That doesn't mean that it is likely to happen.

The only difference between Comrade Sanders and trump is how they say things. They stand for the same policies.

This meme is old hat, and still completely, unquestionably wrong.

I'm not going to say that Trump and Sanders are completely opposite, because they have many similarities, but I really think that they are very different candidates.  One represents Socialism and one Big Government conservatism.  The similarities are big but they are not everything.

The problem is, Trump would need to balance out the ticket. He can't choose a 'socialist' version of himself as his running-mate.

The only policy that both stand for is fair trade.  Other than their opposition to trade deals and bringing back US manufacturing jobs, I really can't see anything that both stand for (now, after Trump made several flip-flops).

0.0% chance. Really.

But, since there has not been any real serious talk about a Trump VP, assuming he can clinch, I think Jan Brewer or some equivalent would be good.
