Vermont is better culturally, but I can't see myself living there. Colorado seems decent enough on all metrics, though not really impressive in any except landscapes.

Vermont.  Only a couple of hours from Montreal, a little further to Boston.  Boating on Lake Champlain.  Sure you can get maple syrup and Ben&Jerry's anywhere, but it probably tastes better there.

Both seem great, but I've been to CO a couple times (LOVED it) and have never been to VT, so I'm pickin' Colorado.

Colorado is a great place to visit, but I'd rather live in Vermont.

Colorado by far.

The great capital is a few hours west, there's Boulder, Denver and real mountains to boot...and of course The Four Corners.

Colorado and is not even close. I can't see myself living in a place like Vermont (too rural, few people and with no diversity)
