Living in Florida I get the perks of having multiple theme parks. My personal favorite has to be IoA without a doubt.

Of the ones I've been to, Disneyland has the best overall atmosphere, while Six Flags Magic Mountain has the best rides.

Busch Gardens. I think it's fun to pretend you are in other countries.

Epcot is good for that too! Just don't try the nasty soda lol.

(Am I the only one who thinks that soda isn't that bad?)

Anyways, I really like all of them but I think I'd go with Busch Gardens in Tampa.

Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio is the best

Out of these, Six Flags is the only one I've been to, and it was a lesser experience than Cedar Point or Pittsburgh's Kennywood.

Of the ones I've been to, DisneyWorld.  I'm sure I'd like Ceder Point better though.  Especially if I was young again.

roller coasters > everything else at theme parks

edit-but they're all too freaking expensive.  I'm planning on going down to visit the boy (man now, just turned 21) in Atlanta this summer with the other boy (still a boy at 14, but as big as a man) and we plan on going to Six Flags.  That's easily going to be the most expensive part of the trip, probably more than everything else combined.  I get that the cool rides are expensive, but sheesh.

Yea, I bet middle class people go to these places. I prefer to spend my free time drinking fine wine and reading thick tomes about English poetry from 1559-1599 Tongue

As a member of the lower-middle class, I've really only ever been to Canobie Lake Park. Also Hershey Park when I was 3 or 4, come to think of it.

Clearly Cedar Point. Nowhere else comes close at all to the coaster selection. Who cares about how many people there are walking around in furry suits? Make the rides worthwhile and I care little about the rest.

I always got a kick out of seeing commercials for Kennywood on TV when I lived in Cleveland. Why drive all the way to PA when the best is just up the road?

I only went to theme parks as a child and all of them have been since destroyed or shut down.

We live further south and Cedar Point was seen as more expensive than Kennywood, and it about the same or only slightly further away.
