Here's something I've often wondered since 2004...

Dean made Wisconsin make or break for him?  So, what would have happened in he somehow had squeaked out an ultra-narrow victory over Kerry there...

Could Dean have rebuilt his campaign in time for Super Tuesday?  Would the media rush back in to embrace him?  Could he have raised enough money to keep fighting?

No but a lot of Republicans voted for him to try to give him the win and then Bush an even bigger margin of victory.

Does Wisconsin have open primaries? Because that'd be kind of dumb; Democrats would be coming out in droves for, say, Bill Frist in 2008.

Yes we do have open primaries. Well if they come out in droves for Frist and we come out in droves for Dean (if he wins) it would all work out because Dean's been going a little crazy lately.
