All over rural minnesota, there was a massive trend towards trump, except for a small county on the tip of minnesota. The two counties closest to it massively swung republican, but not this one.

Why? What is special about cook county, minnesota? Total vote there is only 3k

It's home to the artsy town of Grand Marais, a vacation spot on Lake Superior and gateway to the Boundary Waters Canoe Area.  Lots of nature lovers, and the type of pro-environment liberals who would not trend Trump's way.

Cook County also voted heavily against the anti-gay marriage amendment in 2012.
