Obviously this isn't believable, but polls showing Kasich leading the swing states by double digits totally are...

After spending 2014 bathing in polls showing Georgia Governor to be competitive (yeah, I supported Carter) only to see a semi-blowout on election day, I'm not buying this unless we're still seeing this in mid-october. (GA wasn't affected by the wave as much as other states, Carter/Nunn lost by roughly the same margin as Obama '12.)

Lake Research Partners has a B+ rating from 538 and a very low in house effect (.5 to the Democrats).

Junk for now, but barring a paradigm shift this is still eventually going to happen.

Perhaps it's time to go all-in and nuke it, giving the nomination to Kasich?

I can believe she could be polling at 50% (though she obviously won't be hitting it in November) but the GOP numbers are too low.

Trump will probably lose just like Romney did. And the election not ending up that close. Great for our Senate candidates. More seats.

Not necessarily. For example, it looks like Toomey could win in PA even with Clinton carrying the state by a decent margin. Remember, there were tons of Gore/Santorum voters in 2000.

How do you reconcile that kind of thing I wonder. Do you specifically choose candidates that put their foot in their mouth or something?

Is this a poll from the Democratic Party of Georgia?  If so, it could be biased in their favor.

I really hope that it's Trump 2016 and Cruz 2020 so we can have 4 straight Democratic terms. Wonderful.

It isn't so implausible that Georgia is going the way of Virginia and North Carolina.
