There are many people who believe that Ted's comments against Trump were intended to be anti-Semetic. Do you agree?

I believe that they were intended to be somewhat anti-Semetic (especially when he referred to 'money and the media'). I wasn't personally offended, but I understand why someone would be.

How about you guys?

I don't think so, I think it has more to do with Wall Street.

No, I don't think he intended them to be.  He probably didn't even know they could be interpreted that way like most people.

Random tangent:  I saw the other day in the news that Chuck Schumer and Ted Cruz (!) co-sponsored a bill to make it easier for families to recover artwork lost during the nazi regime.  FWIW.

No, at least it wasn't intended to be, but it was still cringeworthy.

Ah. Therein lies the problem. Republicans are so ignorant that they believe the only issue that matters to Jews is Israel. What a joke.

Lyin' the Ted Kruhz would say he did.

I was offended, because Ted Cruz has nothing on the people of New York's bravery and innovation. He makes them seem less arrogant, though.

Probably not, but I did get that vibe the first time I heard it.
Was I offended? Well, as a New Yorker, yes I was.

It was an attack against Bernie Sanders. And it was intended to be anti-Semitic.

I don't think it was anti-Semitic. I found it to be more along the line of the Palin/Bachmann "real America vs. fake America" label that Republicans like to use to divide the country. Clearly, Lyin' Ted Cruz (LTC) doesn't like New York because it doesn't vote for ideologically pure/true conservative Republicans such as himself and he thinks "New York values" are out of touch with what, I assume, are "real American values," like sacrificing the need to protect people from gun violence by making sure that "real Americans" have the constitutional right to go out into the woods and shoot a deer and then mount it on their walls. I guess to LTC, New Yorkers want to make sure everyone is treated equally under the law, whereas in real America we like to discriminate against gays because that's what Jesus says to do and we don't like women being paid for equal work unless that work is in the house being a wife and mother, which is of course the greatest job of all! *cue the endless eye roll*

In all seriousness, though, Republicans have been doing this for years: trying to paint Democrats as baby-killing, queer-supporting, tree-hugging, God-hating, tax-hiking, government-expanding, latte-drinking, sushi-eating, Volvo-driving, New York Times-reading, body-piercing, Hollywood-loving, nose-pierced left-wing freak shows" who only belong in "liberal bastions" like San Francisco, Vermont, and, New York, of course.

It's just LTC and Republicans doing what they do best: using stereotypes and labels to paint "the other" as evil, sick, wrong, weird, etc. Yet this is one issue on which I agree with Donald J. Trump: New York is GREAT.

Not a Ted Cruz fan, but I do not think that remark was anti-Semitic. I think it was just one of those typical conservative lines about how the big city is full of sin and decadence, as opposed to rural areas that are God fearing and pure.

It comes off that way, yes.

And I'm not a New Yorker, so I wasn't offended, but I was definitely disgusted that he would attack a part of the country like that.

of course not. He's the most pro-Israel candidate out there
