(Bloomberg) -- Donald Trump’s lead over Ted Cruz narrowed from last mo., when it was 46%-26%, CBS poll finds.
John Kasich backed by 18%, compared with 20% last mo.
If Trump loses nomination at convention, 63% of his supporters want him to make independent or third-party run: CBS
In broader electorate, 63% of voters have unfavorable view of Trump
NOTE: Poll taken April 8-12 of of 1,320 adults, including 1,098 registered voters and 399 registered voters likely to vote in GOP primary; error margins +/- 3ppts for entire sample, +/- 6ppts for GOP primary voters

Does anyone else find it really surprising that Cruz's favorability ratings among blacks and hispanics are barely lower than his ratings with whites?

For somebody as far right as he is, Cruz comes across as almost refreshingly equal-opportunity godawful.
