He's not wrong. The Massachusetts Democrats will go ahead and nominate Coakley again, I bet.

And? MA Republicans like Scott Brown and Charlie Baker only come around once in a while, and I think it's more likely the MA Dems nominate a younger candidate like Moulton or Kennedy.
I hope. I just can't believe Coakley dropped the ball not once, but twice in four years.

Coakley is done. She won't be the nominee again. The 2014 gubernatorial race was the first time I voted against a democrat in my life.

It would probably be Moulton, my congressman.
I hate having Moulton as my congressman, but he's better than Marsha Coapley

Well yeah, why wouldn't you want an Iraq war vet who stands up against inequality and stands up for our troops.

Why are you keep on bringing Coakley? She's finished.

Say what you will, but the only VP candidate in the right place(Florida) at the moment is Warren.

Which is why I still have hope that it's going to be her.

OR CHARLIE CRIST!

(seriously, I'd laugh myself to death if it were to be true somehow)

Not Joe III? Odd poetry of a Kennedy re-occupying that seat.

That said, I don't know anything about MA politics other than the hilarious ineptitude of Martha Coakley.

I don't agree with him on politics that's why. I've met him thrice and he's an okay guy. The mayor where I live is mad that he moved one of his offices out of the city because he couldn't get a ride he said from his house.

It's true that Republicans would temporarily get a senate seat if Warren is the VP choice. Still, it's Massachusetts, we're talking about a brief loan here. It's my impression that the Massachusetts Democratic Party isn't the Florida Democratic Party. They won't nominate Coakley a third time... will they?

It's also Charlie Baker, one of the three remaining sane Republicans in the country, making the choice in the interim. Not ideal for her, but whoever it is will likely be better than Scott Brown (who was elected in what could be viewed as a referendum on Obamacare).

Unless we knew this already, this means we shouldn't be thinking it's Warren just because she's the only person in Florida at the moment.

NBC News is reporting that it will be in a text this afternoon, so I suppose it would be in the next 2-3 hours...

Hoping it's an 'entertaining' choice like Warren or Crist instead of Kaine or Vilsack.

Notice there is no clear leak of the choice. We know that Kaine is the most likely, but we don't know who has actually been picked. This is a polished campaign. It is good when the pick is never outright revealed before the actual announcement.

EDIT: Ok that's her press conference time. We should know at least slightly before then. But probably no later than 4:30.

It has to be delayed. Not delaying it now throws away the whole news cycle.

If we wait for a day where nothing bad happens, we will be waiting for a long time.

If it still matters the source is The Guardian Smiley.
