This is a HH (horrible hint). I really want Omarosa to be his running-mate.

I predicted this a few weeks ago and, so far, I haven't seen any reason not to stick with the predictions:

1. Clinton picks Kaine

2. Trump would like to pick Kasich or Rice....but he ends up with either Gingrich, Rubio or Fallin!

Dukakis picking Bentsen was anything but a blunder. In fact, it could be argued that Bentsen was more competent than Dukakis.

Yes, that was what made it a blunder.

Harry Reid says he’ll do whatever he can to prevent Clinton from picking a Senator from a state with a Republican governor:

The New York Post has a weird story that sort-of-claims-to-know Trump’s short list, but it’s written in a vague style and the sourcing is opaque:

http://nypost.com/2016/05/24/trumps-short-list-of-vice-presidential-candidates/

It says that Corker and Sessions are on the list, and also mentions an odd dark horse possibility:

It's crazy that Corker, who was elected in 2006, is #40 in the "Senate Ranking by Seniority" list. Makes you realize how many Senators we have who are relatively new.

I would think so, although there's some wiggle room there because the >2/3rds Dem legislature could just change the appointment law to the Wyoming/Hawaii system, where the incumbent senator's party gives the governor a list to pick from.

But the governor's appointment in MA is only there for a couple of months anyway.  Once there's a vacancy, a special election is called almost immediately.

Yeah, if Warren were to resign on November 9th, the special election would be sometime around late February/March, right? Probably earlier if it looks like Clinton/Warren will win and Warren resigns earlier, but that's risky.

Trump should really pick a woman an a minority one at that:

1. Susana Martinez - likely not interested

Yeah....that one isn't going to happen...The presumptive nominee is out on the trail ripping her...

Nice to see a rare example of some strategic thinking on the part of Democrats.

That choice would make this Sanders supporter very happy!

I've always loved Warren, but I think her place is the Senate and I think she and Hillary knows it.

Or he forgot. I'm starting to wonder if what we've all been attributing to Trump's pathological lying is actually Alzheimer's.

Looks like the Trumpster is now really eying Corker for the VP slot. A relatively unknown old white man from a state that he will win anyway. LOL.

Yeah, that's my conflict too. Regardless, she needs to be stumping for her nationwide this fall (along with Obama, Sanders, Bill, Michelle Obama). Trump can't compete with that group of surrogates.

Warren for VP, Maura Healey for Senate. They even have the same haircut. Win/win.

I wonder if his talk with Trump was just a move to either bury any potential bad press or paint this as a political witch hunt because he's being considered for the bottom slot on the ticket.

Not if TRUMP wins the election.

However, looks like my dear John Kasich is out for the VP nomination and I can take him off my signature. He would habe been a great Vice President for The Donald.
