Who would it be (and don't waste it on someone who is safe anyway, of course)?

I will go with Ron Johnson.  Pat Toomey would be my next choice, but I bet he wins anyway.

considering that there are no remotely decent senators in danger of losing reëlection, that makes this kinda pointless

Kelly Ayotte, obviously. Ron Johnson would probably be my second choice.

I would think you would want Ayotte to lose, to prove your theory about NH being solid D.

Anyway, I guess Bennet, since he's the only incumbent Democrat that is remotely vulnerable.

Maybe Lisa Murkowski? The only one I like more is Pat Toomey, and I may not even vote for him.

Either Kirk, Portman, or Toomey.

This question doesn't hold a lot of appeal for a Democrat, so I'll say Mark Begich from 2014. I think he probably could have held that seat for a few more terms and he wasn't super conservative. Now, the seat is probably lost to Republicans for a long time.

Out of the senators who are at least mildly endangered, I'd go with Portman.

Reid, because I'll miss his trolling.

If I could get one challenger elected, it would be Hassan.

In fact Bennet is the only non Republican in any danger of losing re-election. And yes, he's rather meh.

Then again, that's what happens when it's six years after a major wave election.

Since Bennet is the only Democrat in any danger at all this year, I'll say him.

If it were 2018, though, I'd say McCaskill.

Who do you support, then? Will there be a Libertarian candidate in the race?

Presumably, and I'll vote for him/her. If not, a very reluctant vote for Johnson.
