Louisiana, I have to deal with rude French Canadians coming down as snowbirds every year and acting like they own the place.  I'm sure Quebec I a nice place but too many bad experiences

Quebec. Preferable to getting raped/murdered by someone who the media immediately labels as a good kid who was just getting his life back on track until white privilege triggered him.

I generally prefer Canada to the United States by default, unless it's my part of the US.

Having actually lived in Côte-Saint-Luc, I vote Quebec. There's a lot more places in Louisiana I'd be willing to live in than in Quebec, though.

Lean Quebec. Deciding factor being the climate.

Lean Quebec; would be overwhelmingly Quebec if not for the language factor. Still voted Quebec.

Quebec, without a doubt. Montreal is an incredibly cool and cultured city.

The Gulf area is just plain awful in so many ways.

While I can certainly appreciate the value of poutine, the food and music and all associated with it make Louisiana better place to live, no matter how oppressive the summer can be, plus winters are quite pleasant.

I'd pick Quebec pretty easily, especially because of the climate and because all of Canada is great.

On the other hand, it would be easier to get by in Louisiana without knowing French.

Not an easy choice, but Louisiana because I just couldn't live under Quebec's weather.

Yea, although it might be an interesting self-imposed challenge learning another language.

Louisiana easily.  Weather is hugely important, and Louisiana has fantastic weather.
