If it actually happens then the fact that they got here means they have tech way beyond anything we've got and thus would likely crush us easily. Who's President would likely make no difference.

I hate to say it, but the snake Clinton. Her campaign actually has access to info about the aliens, and thus hopefully know some of their weaknesses.

Let's see:
- Bernie would cut defense spending, leaving the country unprepared for an invasion. However, after the aliens take over, I could see him leading the resistance movement.
- Kayzitch would pointlessly try to make peace with the aliens. After the invasion he would dispense "advice" to people telling them not to fight back.
- Drumpf would try to build a wall in space, and by the time his advisers manage to explain that it's impossible it would be too late.
- Cruz would strike a deal with the aliens and become their puppet Earth ruler, ala Pétain/Quisling.

Yes, Clinton and Cruz are both aliens, although they're from different quadrants of the galaxy. Depending on which aliens are doing the invading, one of these two people would be best to deal with it.

Still sticking with Jim Webb for any alien invasion.  If there's anyone out there to go mano a tentacle with the aliens, it's Jim Webb.  In fact, he should be kept in the White House in some sort of glass case (like a fire extinguisher) for just such an emergency.
