It's official, if the Democrats used the electoral college to nominate their candidate, it would officially be over.

This was actually when I wanted to move from Sanders to Hillary. But, Sanders went negative and Clinton swept all five states on March 15, so #Imwithher.

A lot of the stuff he says is pointless but so is this fact. And his rebuttal is valid.

Sanders and Cruz are willing largely the same states. I guess both parties are more radical out West...

Go ahead, pick Castro for VP. Show everyone that we Republicans are right about the Democrats and identity politics. Castro is the Democratic Rubio, and he always will be.

Castro is an empty suit, and if you go up against Trump, you sure as hell don't need any help with Hispanic voters.

And the Clinton campaign actually pointed out at one point how they were winning with this method and tried to use it as an argument for the superdelegates to support her.

If you remove home states (TX/VT/OH) the correlation is even stronger. More to do with caucuses though rather than regions, IMO. I mean Cruz won Maine for god's sake. Trump probably would've dominated there in a primary.

Why does this matter? Sanders won most counties in New York and that didn't help him win the state. Since there are no winner take all states in Democratic primaries, it doesn't really mean much. If they were winner take all Clinton would have won this by now.

Not that it matters. Trump 244 Cruz 87 Kasich 18 Rubio 13 (not including places like Puerto Rico, of course)

If Clinton wins all those states, it would be quite a landslide, but will she? (AK?, MS?, AL?, SC?)

Donald Trump has yet to pass the 270 mark, but I'm pretty sure he will.

Donald Trump - 248
Ted Cruz - 95
John Kasich - 18
Marco Rubio - 13
Yet to hold primary - 164
