For all the good, bad, absurd, useful, indifferent, sexy, ironic, funny, confusing, mind blowing, sulphurious, discombobulating, Art Deco, meta, happy, poorly-written, life-changing, mediocre, yuge etc posts that relate to the very interesting debates beween Sanders and Clinton supporters that are very thrilling to read in every single thread that you feel the need to specifically highlight.

Guys, getting your ass handed by Lyndon doesn't justify this bizarre obsession. Just ignore him and quit spamming the Bureaus and Mines. It's getting embarrassing.

I would say that they should create a "Bash Lyndon Megathread" to dump all of the Lyndon-bashing away from everyone else if I didn't think someone might actually make that thread. Tongue

Out of curiosity, what come of this place after the primaries end and it moves to the General? And what after that?

Don't get me wrong, this is funny in the "funny because it's true" way, but a quote mine for something so short-term?

That's why it's a quarantine and not a long term holding facility.

If he loses 4 out of 5 next week (with RI as the only win) he not only should drop out, but must drop out or risk throwing the election to the Republicans

From the same thread:

He should continue to point out how loathsome the snake Clinton is. She does NOT deserve a free pass to be glorified unrighteously by the media...

That's not funny, that's another of jfern's idiotic arguments.
The NYT endorsed McCain in 2008 and a few days later they ran a hit-piece against him implying that he had an affair with a lobbyist.

Lyndon is right though. On top of that, they endorsed Kasich yet have treated him like an afterthought joke while shilling for Rubio the entire election season.

Would it be fair to say that the media is only biased towards the concept of interesting stories?

Seriously I'm from the UK, people stateside don't know crap about newspaper vendettas.

I don't blame the kids. They were probably still sucking their mom's teat when the McCain story happened.

Speaking from personal experience in my rural days, they spend a lot of time sitting at home with the fan on watching TV or browsing the internet, mostly browsing the internet nowadays.  Anyone who spends enough time on the internet knows that it's easy to stumble into the Sanders misinformation bubble and get trapped.  Same reason a lot of rural conservatives still think Obama is a muslim.  There's no counterbalancing force and they only socialize with maybe a dozen other people in an average week.

Even the most staid or "reputable" media hate the status quo, they need the drama, things to be in motion, surges and collapses, feed the narrative.  The worst story in the world is that nothing has changed.

http://www.cnn.com/2016/04/23/politics/rosario-dawson-monica-lewinsky-hillary-clinton/

Outspoken Bernie Sanders surrogate Rosario Dawson said Saturday she stands with Monica Lewinsky's fight against bullying, and suggested that the Clinton campaign is engaging in such behavior.

"We are literally under attack for not just supporting the other candidate. Now I'm with Monica Lewinsky with this: bullying is bad. She's actually dedicated her life now to talking about that," Dawson said, before introducing the Vermont senator on-stage at a rally here.

It's absolutely disgusting. The lengths that crazy old man will go to get elected continue to shock me.

Fetterman being ahead of Sestak is a moral victory to me - I thought he was the easily best candidate and deserved a shot.

Here is a great piece about Fetterman.

http://www.philly.com/philly/blogs/attytood/The-man-that-Bernie-Sanders-forgot.html

Long story short, he endorsed Sanders, ol' Bernie ignored him and Fetterman felt like a schmuck.
The results show a great missed opportunity. If the excuse for not helping Donna Edwards was the she endorsed Clinton then what prevented Sanders from helping this man who could become a valuable ally in the senate?
I hope this isn't the last we hear from him.

Hillary is a master of technology. She doesn't know how to have two email addresses on the same phone, her email server was unecrypted for 3 months, and her pal Blumenthal sent her top secret classified information from his AOL account that got hacked.

This was in a thread about Kasich/Cruz smartphone applications. lol

At least if Clinton finds her pet bunny boiling in a pot we will know who to ask first.

On Barbara Boxer laying into Fiorina on Twitter:

Boxer has been too much of a hack for her grandson's aunt for me to care what she says.
