Depends who the Republicans nominate for President. Nominee Trump probably results in a Senator Sestak.

I'm not sure Cruz would do any better than Trump in the state.  Trump would lose PA, no doubt, but Cruz is just an awful fit for the region.

I think Cruz would lose by a larger margin than Trump.

Yes, remember what caused theses areas to trend away from the GOP in the first place. Ted Cruz is all of that to the tenth degree. There are a lot of blue collar secular voters in places like NE PA, which would vote for Trump but not for Cruz. Think of a Democrat in Hazelton who would vote for Lou Barletta as Mayor. Those small cities and towns are packed full of them.

Oh, I sure hope not.  Can't Dems find a better candidate than their 2010 loser?

I guess that in the land of the blind, the one-eyed man is king.

Sestak will win, and it will be closer at end.  In a Dem lean year, Pa usually votes Democratic. Polls tend to overstate GOP strength in the state. When likely voters come out in Fall, Dems aren't winning the election without seats in IL, WI, NH and Pa.

Sestak, but it will be close if Kasich is the nominee.

Presidential nominees/ratings:
Cruz: Tilt/Lean D
Trump: Tilt D
Kasich: Tossup/Tilt R

I wouldn't call 2010 a "tsunami" for the GOP.  We threw away too many winnable Senate and governor's races on Tea Party candidates.  To me, a tsunami would be like 2006, where Democrats held on to every single Senate, House, and governor's seat they had.

The polls right now indicate that Toomey is favored either way.  I suspect Toomey holds on unless Trump is the GOP's nominee for president.

The GOP won 7 and even if DEL, NV and CO fell, the GOP still would have lost Senate. Ginnoulias and Sestak should of won

It's a tossup, but I think either of the Democrats would ultimately win. This just isn't a good year for the Republican Party, and it also isn't 2000 anymore.

I'd call it a toss-up. Don't underestimate Sestak, he was supposed to get flattened by Toomey in 2010.
