Trump: raise taxes on the wealthy & let trans people switch bathrooms

On the transgender issue, Trump didn't take a view on either side of the debate from what I can tell.  He does what he always does when confronted with a controversial issue.  "There's a big problem.  This side is concerned.  The other side is concerned.  I'm telling you we got a big problem.  Leave it the way it is."  

He did take a side: Leave restrooms how they are (i.e. neither make people use restrooms based on biological sex nor create gender-neutral restrooms).

Trump has already flip flopped.

Thee difference is that he was never an established Republican. He never had a real party. There was no way he was going to win the Democratic primary against Hillary. The Republican field of 17 looked a lot more open. So Trump played the conservative act until now, when he's just about a shoe-in for nomination. And now he can say what he really thinks.
