So here we are on March 22 2016 :

In the Democratic Presidential Primaries, Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton leads her rival Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders with 1941 delegates and 19 states against 1240 delegates and 16 states for Mr. Sanders. She now needs 442 more delegates to clinch the Democratic nomination.

On the Republican side, Donald Trump leads with 843 delegates and 21 states against 563 delegates and 12 states for Texas Senator Ted Cruz, 173 delegates and 1 state for Florida Senator Marco Rubio who dropped out of the race on March 15 and 146 delegates and 1 state for Ohio Governor John Kasich. The issue of this race is not clear since the Republican National Convention in Cleveland sounds likely to be brokered.

John Kasich tries to ressurect his campaign by campaigning hard in Pennsylvania, where he was born in 1952, counting on the independent voters to boost him. On his side, Ted Cruz counts on the support of the center of this state (residence of many social conservatives) to clinch victory in this state. He slams John Kasich for not being a real conservative :

« Governor Kasich allowed Medicare to expand, while I promise to repeal every single word of Obamacare. He restricted oil fracking in Ohio and Pennsylvania has the potential to be a champion of shale gas to create jobs and make America prosperous like never before. »

In Philadelphia, he slams Donald Trump for being a false conservative :

« Donald is does not defend our values! He supports Planned Parenthood, supported abortion, gun control and big government. It's here in Philadelphia during the American Revolution that we protested against unfair taxes imposed by England. It's here in Philadelphia that the Declaration of Independance was signed, leading us to victory against tyranny and the adoption of the American Constitution which gave us the right for autodefense and free speech and promoted free enterprise. Donald is running to help Hillary Clinton win. I think he should be one of the speakers of the Democratic National Convention here in Philadelphia on July. As President. I will defend the Constitution and fight for liberty, for democracy, for our values and for prosperity. »

Donald Trump campaigns in Connecticut with a remarkable speech about gun rights :
« If teachers and young students had guns, they would be alive today because they would have defended themselves instead of getting killed. »

In Connecticut, Hillary Clinton denounced Bernie Sander's opposition to gun control. In Philadelphia, she promises that the Democratic National Convention, which will be held in the same city, will be a symbol of American exceptionalism and diversity with the fact that Philadelphia is the place where Declaration of Independence was signed on July 4th 1776, with Clinton's foreign policy experience and with the nomination of a woman in the top of a Presidential ticket, which will demonstrate that everything is possible in America.

In National Harbor, Maryland, Cruz uses as an argument his victory in the 2016 Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) to demonstrate his conservative credentials :

« Donald didn't even participate in CPAC and you know why, because he's not a conservative. We need a true conservative to win the White House. If Donald Trump is the nominee, many of our voters will stay home, thus leading to a Democratic victory on November just as it happened every time we nominated a moderate. »

After losing all the primaries of April 26, John Kasich drops out of the race :

« It's time for party unity. Without party unity, Donald Trump will surely get the 1237 delegates required to win the nomination, which would be catastrophic for our party and our country. For this reason, I announce that I withdraw from this race and that I will help Ted Cruz to beat Donald Trump. »
