We all know that Clinton would win the election in a landslide if it was held today but are you worried that she might peak too early?

As for me, not really.

No. Her image/favorability is actually pretty low right now and I expect it to go back up, along with her GE poll numbers. That is, once the Clinton Attack Machine starts firing on all cylinders. Look who she is facing off against - Cruz or Trump? These guys are terrible opponents and a very well-funded campaign against them will be much more effective than normal (imo).

I just like to think of it like this - She already polls very well against Trump, OK against Cruz, and this is before she has unleashed any sustained attacks against them.

If a 55 percent unfavorability rating is her peak, than I don't want to see the valley.

Very worried. She is just not a good campaigner, Drumpf is much savvier than he appears, and the media love a good comeback story.

I wouldn't say that she's "peaking" right now. She was peaking more in 2014, when she was winning GE match-up polls by double digits. If anything, Trump is the one who peaked too soon. Now, Republicans have become aware of what a danger he is. It might be too late for them to stop him from winning the nomination, but the possibility of him absolutely tanking in the GE is there.

What do you mean 'peaking'? We aren't even at the convention yet.  This is Hillary's 'valley' if we are referring to the general election.

When the party and most independents re-unite around her after the Primary, her image will improve in the polls....not necessarily due to her, but because of who her opponents will be.

Are you kidding?  She's getting trashed by Sanders and his supporters every day all over the internet and in real-world political discussions, the media is still trying its best to sink her although they've let up over the last week to let the "Sanders should drop out" stories run, and she's still sitting in her far-left primary seat.  The peak will be after the convention when Sanders endorses her, the children supporting him stop spamming Facebook with lies about her, she shifts to the center and takes more natural positions, and the liberal media starts seeing her as the more acceptable alternative to Trump/Cruz.

lol, so true. Yes, her peak was in 2013-2014 when she was crushing everyone by 20+ points.

This too. However, Trump/Cruz's image is going to improve as well as the rallying begins, so it's not all upside for her. On the later point, she really should thank her lucky stars that Trump or Cruz would be the opponent. The media may very well hold their nose and back her. They would've led her to the slaughter against a media darling like Rubio, which is exactly what I predicted back in February. Luckily the GOP was too stupid to take the already wrapped gift the media handed to them on a silver platter. Smiley

peaking? I think this is probably her low point - she has withstood accusations from Bernie and Trump and has not vigorously engaged either.
