I don't know, but I'll give shout outs to:"I'm Too Sexy", "Amadeus", "Relax"...and I can't think of anymore good ones......

oh.......

the best one is "Spirit In The Sky", ya know, that pop song about Jesus....written by a Jew.  Great song.

That might have been more memorable, but Wishing (If I Had A Photograph Of You) was a bigger hit for AFOS even in your country.

There's something deeply satisfying and comforting about 'Kung Fu Fighting' despite the many problems with the whole seventies Asiansploitation aesthetic and ethos. It's like a warm bath, pleasant and completely unchallenging. I'm only slightly ashamed to love it as much as I do.

Rick Astley actually had quite a few minor hits besides that one.

True. Perhaps he instead falls into a category of people who will only be remembered as memes.

Some "one hit wonders" are actually ones who had multiple hits but only one is remembered today. For example Men Without Hats did have other songs that charted besides The Safety Dance, but that's the only song of their's you'll ever hear anywhere after the 80s.

Here's my (very likely) pick: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6JCLY0Rlx6Q

I was going to suggest "The Safety Dance," actually, because I can't name you another song they did, and probably a lot of people my age can't either! Also "Come on, Eileen" and "Heart and Soul," which I really like, by T'Pau.

Not only the song, but the music video that revolutionized what a music video could be.

Thus Rick Astley.

When I think of one-hit wonders, I think mostly of the '80s, with maybe a few in the '90s. I looked around sites, like VH1's top 100 list and others. Some of the songs I like:

Blind Melon - No Rain
Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
Simple Minds - Don't You (Forget About Me) (yes, I like The Breakfast Club)
Ratt - Round and Round

BRTD might be right about some of the '80s bands, because I always thought Loverboy's Working for the Weekend was a one-hit wonder. I would have put it on the list, but apparently it doesn't meet the qualifications. I probably have a few more on my playlist, but I'm not searching right now.

I have never actually seen The Breakfast Club, but I still love that song.

"Alive and Kicking" does play occassionally on the radio, at least in this area, but indeed is dwarfed by "Don't You (Forget About Me)" in number of radio plays by far.

Soulja Boy is pretty underrated. He made his own beats, had a great rap voice, and actually had two great hits for the price of one ("Turn My Swag On" will never be bad).

I've always been partial to The Sun Always Shines on TV. (Though re-watching the video I hadn't recalled the Game of Thrones-esque wall of faces before.)

Mine are Ghetto Superstar by Pras (I think he counts as a OHW) and Kung Fu Fighting by Carl Douglas.

My sister's flute teacher did the solo for 'Kung Fu Fighting'.  She was also the Motown flute player (a Funk Sister) and played on 'Tears of a Clown' and a bunch of Stevie Wonder hits.

These are a few which came to mind, although The Knack are arguably two-hit wonders and Derek and the Dominos is sort of a special case.

Fastball - The Way
Derek and the Dominos - Layla
The Knack - My Sharona
Warren Zevon - Werewolves of London
