When I think of one-hit wonders, I think mostly of the '80s, with maybe a few in the '90s. I looked around sites, like VH1's top 100 list and others. Some of the songs I like:
Blind Melon - No Rain
Harvey Danger - Flagpole Sitta
Simple Minds - Don't You (Forget About Me) (yes, I like The Breakfast Club)
Ratt - Round and Round
BRTD might be right about some of the '80s bands, because I always thought Loverboy's Working for the Weekend was a one-hit wonder. I would have put it on the list, but apparently it doesn't meet the qualifications. I probably have a few more on my playlist, but I'm not searching right now.
Not a one hit wonder. Probably the only song they play on mainstream radio which has a few hits from back in the day but they have a lot of other popular songs in the hair metal/rock/80s communities.
