This is more plausible than Trump winning NH.

No.

For the record, according to both the FiveThirtyEight calculator and the RCP calculator, even if Trump wins 25% of African-Americans, he'll still lose in the 272 freiwal map.

This has a better chance of happening than Trump pulling 25% with blacks (unless Hillary is indicted).

So logically, he'll be getting more of the black vote than the Hispanic vote.

LOL @ "the blacks."  Sounds like how Archie Bunker would phrase it.

Trump had his picture taken w/ Sammy Davis Jr once.  That should impress the blacks and the Jews.

I'm not going to rule this out.  It seems ridiculous, but Trump has broken a LOT of molds to date.

Trump is the most unorthodox candidate in recent memory; he'll soon be the most unorthodox NOMINEE in my lifetime.  His issue positions, if adopted as the GOP platform, would constitute something of a realignment of the parties.  Trump may have a slew of surprises up his sleeve that would shake the seemingly rigid demographics.

Trump is not your regular GOP candidate with a regular GOP platform. Expect the unextected.

Wouldn't rule out 15%, actually, though black turnout probably takes a mild hit in the immediate post-Obama era. Will barely even begin to negate far lower Hispanic & college-educated white numbers combined with a massive increase in turnout in the former.

College educated white Republican voters are too smart to let emotions drive their choice and will all (almost all) fall back in line by November.

You're talking about non-Drumpf supporters like they dogs or bratty kids, some will though, most will.

That "almost" is key. trump needs all, not almost all. There's no doubt that he'll improve from where he is now among historically-Republican but heavily anti-trump groups. There's also no doubt, of course, that it won't even be close to enough.

Sure, and Hillary Clinton will win 50% of the born-again Christian vote. Little Donny is delusional.

I'd guess <10, maybe lower if another black person gets punched at one of his rallies.  Before Obama Dems got like 88-92%.

Best case:  <15
Worst case:  <5

You can all quote me in November. Trump isn't going to touch 5 percent black folks, and will get about double that for Hispanic and Asian folks.

The real question is what Trump ends up doing with the white vote, IMO. He's getting absolutely blown out by women.

I believe Trump will get more of the white vote than Romney.

If Sanders got 30% of Black vite in a Dem primary and Trump is a GOPer, Trump  will lose black vote substantially. But  conservative Blacks like Carson likes him
