Ted got greedy and stole all of Colorado's delegates. Now his polls numbers are crashing all across the country. Loser!

The second half of April was always going to be awful for him. We'll have a better idea about Rafael's fate when Indiana votes.

Of course not. trump is going to choke on his words when the uncommitted Colorado delegates provide Cruz his margin of victory.

What is supposed to do? Try to lose? Even then Trump's campaign was so horrible in CO I doubt it works.

He probably shouldn't have bragged about it for two weeks though. It is like an NBA player bragging about making a lay up.

He should have just done it quietly. Bragging about stealing an election was an awful idea. Maybe he'd still be competitive in Indiana, Maryland and Pennsylvania right now if he didn't.

Whomever told Cruz it would be a great ideal to go around the country bragging about stealing votes and getting the will of the people overturned was stupid.

Right, the whole point to the closed Caucus was to prevent Dem infiltration. Funny how it's 'the will of the people' when Democrats can vote.

I highly doubt Cruz had a chance in any of the 4/26 states no matter what with Kasich still in the race, with the possible exception of Delaware (which might be competitive anyways, it hasn't been polled AT ALL). Something is really going wrong in Indiana though, hoping the polls there are junk.

Most wouldn't know/care. Cruz is just showing up the complete lack of strategy from Trump's campaign.

I doubt Ted Cruz has ever felt "regret", or any of these other strange human emotions of which you speak.

What about Pennsylvania? Their delegate selection is odd

TRUMP's going to win Pennsylvania in a landslide (the bound 17 are WTA), and many of the 54 unbound have said that they'll vote along with their CD or the entire state. True, some won't hold true to that promise. But TRUMP doesn't need all 54. His target is 30/54.

No.
Why ? Because he did it again just a couple of days ago in Maine.
It is my understanding, that Maine's initial allocation of delegates from before, just changed over the weekend (I think on Sat April 23).
In Maine, I think I read that he now how all the delegates from that state, except for one.
Maybe someone can confirm this additional "odd" adjustment/change.

No; Maine's delegates will be bound on the first ballot according to the results of the caucus in March (where Cruz won a majority of delegates anyway). After the first ballot, they'll be free to vote their consciences (overwhelmingly pro-Cruz, like the overwhelming majority of delegates chosen in pretty much all states, including most of the Southern states won by trump).

The difference between this and Colorado is the Colorado convention sent delegates to the first ballot which were either bound for Cruz, or put vociferous Cruz supporters in "uncommitted" slots, so that Cruz will receive at least 34/37 votes from Colorado (the remaining 3 are the RNC members, who are actually uncommitted, but who are likely to support Cruz as well).

The Maine convention is another example of why trump must surpass 1237 on the first ballot, or he collapses into utter irrelevance afterwards, even if the GOP establishment (as some have speculated) decides to back trump. It's very clear that the actual majority of delegates at a convention, even if trump gets nominated, will be Cruzies.

Agreed. It was cringeworthy hearing him talk about how he won and had a mandate from the voters. He should've just admitted he took advantage of a flawed system and that Trump was too incompetent to do so.

Of course not. You don't intentionally lose something to win something else later. That's not how democracy works and it isn't how democracy should work.

Incidentally, Cruz is stupid for not finding some people who attended some precinct caucuses and making an ad with them saying they voted in Colorado for Ted Cruz and castigating Trump. Put it on YouTube and it'll get hits, no need to even buy air-time. It's a very logical response to the "stealing" charge.

How was it stealing again?  Would it have been stealing if Trump had won the convention?

Yet another illustration why the media is to blame for this primary.  They're all liberals who want the destruction of the Reagan Coalition, so they used their power over people to push this likely Democratic double-agent to kill the conservative movement.
