I mean it might not be these leaders in the election. PP by all accounts should dump Rajoy, an absurdly tainted and corrupt figure; but PP is such a hierarchical organisation they'll probably fall in line. Sanchez is also at constant threat from the idiotic and corrupt barons of the South who want a grand coalition - perhaps he'll be chucked.

The insurgents will keep their parties, but they're starting to be liabilities. Perhaps Iglasias would be better as a sort of "spiritual leader" for Podemos at this stage; the cult-like behaviour of the party is starting to unnerve. And Rivera? He's very, erm, cleggish. That is, if Clegg was also a hardcore nationalist (Rivera could be a parallel to more familiar right populists, although is nationalist bluster is focused more in UNITEH THROUGH STRENGTH!! than the more familiar Brussels bushing.)

Wow, a right winger is winning in an Atlas poll! And not even a wishy-washy one!
Against a regular socialist, a libertarian socialist, and a communist.

Rajoy is corrupt, but at least he won't be as constantly unstable as Sanchez.

Rivera is a right winger
