The rabid anti-abortion crowd is just angry about the fact that they're being held accountable for their slanderous and false videos that got three people killed in Colorado Springs.

Well then we ought to impeach and disband the House Oversight Committee then too, huh?

That does not only go after one type of political group

She wanted to make some right-wing superpac disclose their donors, right-wingers cry foul.

Nice try though.

It's going to be nice when the good Republican voters of California give this woman a nice thrashing by voting for Sanchez!

Don't count on it, and don't count on this not firing up the base and putting her far over the top on the coast.

"The base" which you describe, presumably involves latinos who are going to be voting for one of their own (sanchez) along with independents and Republicans.

Harris is done!

I mean, that's not too bad for a worst case scenario...

Which is exactly why it's unlikely. Republicans (who are laughable minority now) aren't going to enthusiastically turn out for two lefties just because one is slightly more moderated than the other.

Those still determined to vote could very well split up given Sanchez' gaffes and those who are pro-choice will like these actions taken by Harris. This is also unlikely, but not out of the question.

Also, the white non-far-right and other minority votes are going to favor Harris.

No, Sanchez won't win based on this, she'll win based on gross structural incompetence from the Harris campaign should things go that way in the fall.

Yeah, it shows how much things have changed in California that Republicans are now forced to root for the lady who took down the odious Bob Dornan.

Hey, they do all do a damn good job at it! I was part of a well oiled machine for six months. If I decide to enter the corporate world (which will never, ever happen), I'll be well prepared.

All the Democratic donors will give to Harris, but no R donors will waste money getting a slightly more conservative Democrat elected. Sanchez's campaign will suffer.
