After the Reform Party ended, a left wing third party run had been threatened. However, that ended up being put to rest by the Democrats nominating ultraliberal representative Dennis Kucinich. To nobody's surprise, Kucinich picked Senator Mike Gravel, the runner up to the nomination, as his running mate. Will the Reform Party vote save Paul or Kucinich?

I question whether a 11.6% showing would really be bad enough to convince the Reformers to pack it in.

Anyway, Paul.

Yeah, 11.4% is pretty good, especially if Johnson betrayed the party and endorsed Paul.

Maybe with Kucinich and Paul there was no room for them, but I think a Reformist Centre party could be formed in 2012.
