He should blame the loss on "That Face" and continue to steal delegates.

Nope, Trump can't clinch before California.

Cruz should fight on to the convention.

I'm not sure what his ultimate goal is.

What would dropping out at that point actually accomplish?  Someone has to be the anti-Trump

If he had any honour, he would have dropped out after being mathematically eliminated.

He should, and likely picked Fiorina at least partly because she'd give him an excuse not to.

If Cruz loses Indiana, I am afraid to say, yes, it is over for him.

He should drop out, his donations will take a precipitous slide then disappear, and why continue to pursue the silver chalice when it is clearly beyond your grasp?

I weep as I type this, but Trump wins Indiana, California, and becomes the GOP nominee.

And he will lead my beloved Republican Party to a devastating loss in November.

Winfield, please stop smearing the name of Abraham Lincoln with your Ted Cruz sh**te. Lincoln would have condemned Cruz as a Neo-Confederate and bigot.

No. You on the left quit smearing Lincoln. I seriously doubt he'd stand with you when your party = slavery, segregation, secession, and socialism.

The fact that Ted Cruz thinks naming Carly Fiorina as his VP is an effective form of pandering just perfectly illustrates his political ineptitude.  Sad!  He should have dropped out after announcing his low-energy collusion with Joan Cusack.

Damn. Next thing you'll hear is Democrats telling Republicans that they can't honor a Republican president.

What next, censoring the Raygun?

Winfield, please stop smearing the name of Abraham Lincoln with your Ted Cruz..... Lincoln would have condemned Cruz as a Neo-Confederate and bigot.

Well, I doubt very much Abraham Lincoln would like Red Necks seizing control of the  Republican Party, by nominating Trump, a megalomaniac, who believes women are dogs, slobs, fat pigs, and disgusting animals, who advocates carpet bombing babies and toddlers, who took 24 hours to publicly disavow the endorsement he received from radical racist and KKK leader David Duke, and only disavowed Duke when forced to do so because the media was covering his refusal extensively, who believes Mexican men are rapists and murderers, who has branded all Muslims as terrorists.

No, my friend, Abraham Lincoln would not be pleased indeed to see his party hijacked by these racists and red necks.

I think that may actually be his way to lose while having a rationale to run again in 2020 or 2024.

If/when he loses Indiana and California and Trump can win the nomination outright, he can argue that Carly Fiorina dragged down his momentum and he wasn't the reason he lost.

Yes, he should. I'll laugh if he loses IN, proceeds to go to California, then get humiliated by Trump there.

The Blue Avatars still don't realize just how big a disaster Cruz would be in a general election. Trump is a high risk/high reward candidate, while Cruz is a high risk/low reward candidate.

And yet that's exactly what he'll do.

I don't think he should drop out if he loses Indiana. However, a week later is Nebraska. If he loses THAT, then he should drop out.
