Okay, it seems we have around 36% of liars. There isn't that much Mormons here.

Is there something wrong with living a very conservative lifestyle even if we're not Morman in your book?

I wouldn't be able to feel elitist and judge others for their life choices if I ever drank alcohol, so never.

Properly drunk for the first time was at 15, a pretty normal age for that I'd say.

Some of these responses are just sad. Trust me guys, alcohol is a great thing; and it would do a lot of you much good to consume it extensively, I'm speaking from experience Tongue

It's horrible for the body, makes 50% of us assholes, makes 25% violent assholes and makes 5% dangerous violent assholes.

14 or 15 first time I drank, 19ish first time I got drunk.  I drink maybe 24 beers a year.  Not a big fan.

Trump says it's not though so it's kinda your word against my life's guide's

I've met a stunning number in the past 2 years who actually have the same moral guideline as me here. I assumed literally no one here did that when I was growing up, but I'm impressed by how our society is advancing beyond that.

Since when not drinking is a "conservative" thing? I know plenty of people with rather conservative lifestyle that are not into temperance.

It has nothing to do with politics, but it is a conservative lifestyle to not drink, do drugs, or have one night stands.  Almost all of my friends drink, and I don't have any problem being around people drinking, as long as it's not in excess.  But, given the history of alcoholism in my family, I do not think I could drink without it ruining my life.

That heavily depends (I'm addressing drinking part) on group/background. I don't believe we should generalize like that.

That's a valid point, I believe that a rationale given by Biden on his abstinence. I have some history of alcoholism in my family as well, but, thankfully, I can keep it under control.

18; although I didn't worship the porcelain gods until 21. Those were my two experiences drinking to such an extent.

I've never gotten that drunk but I started drinking to get buzzed occasionally last year, so twenty-two. Before that I'd only had alcohol on holidays, and never very much.

The most alcohol I've ever had at once was a whole 750ml bottle of Riesling. That got me to a point where I was slurring and giggly and couldn't really walk straight but was still in control of and could remember my actions.

I'm mostly a wine person. I don't want to have a strong reds or whites preference, but I've yet to work my way up to liking the more tannic Italian reds. I'll also drink hard cider, certain mixed drinks, and occasionally liqueurs or rum. Beer is swill.

I didn't develop any actual coherent tastes until I started dating someone who works in wine and spirits sales.

February 24, 2006. I was 19 (and a half), which is the legal age for such things here.

I've never had a drink, period, nor will I ever. Too many alcoholics in the family.

Seventeen.  I'm a happy drunk, maybe it's because I'm almost always around music when I drink.  Angry drunks shouldn't drink.

Okay, there is something bizarrely unrepresentative about the people here when 40% haven't ever been drunk. I cannot literally name a single non-Mormon person I've ever met who hasn't been drunk before. Obviously, there's nothing wrong with that, but the aggregate numbers are really strange. Hell, 40% of people I meet are probably alcoholics.

We're too busy studying maps on the 1956 North Carolina Democratic gubernatorial primary to go have a drink.

17. Late bloomer due to upbringing.

I'm sure our upbringings were different, but yeah, 17 and a late bloomer on that front and just about every other front.

If I'd been put in the right grade, it would've been 18!
